Factory web cam

Just a thought. Wouldn't it be great if Arcimoto set up a web cam in the new factory so we could see the progress as they ramp up to production. I would love to watch as my own FUV was being built.

The A Team members may not like the idea of a camera on their every move, however, since the FUVs will be built to order, it would be cool to see a time lapse of individual FUVs being built. Arcimoto did just that with one of the Gen 8 Builds.

At this time of year we should, at least, spare a thought for those working to earn a living who might not be overly enthusiastic of having to be permanently under supervision. The "fun" of being able to enjoy one´s latest gadget being manufactured could easily lead to a modern form of slavery.

I think some of us would be surprised about exactly how many factories have 24/7 surveillance cameras inside. The last factory I worked at in 2004 did.
And rest assured, if you spend any time at all in populated areas or driving most anywhere, you're on candid camera quite often.

I would love to see a video of a build and would love to see the new equipment in action. I toured the G.M. plant in Linden N.J. when I was in grade school on a class trip. I will never forget it ,it was awesome seeing a car put together. Bye the way I work in a Circle K and we have video cameras all over. Just a sign of the times. You can't get thru a day without being on a camera somewhere.

I only wanted to avoid embarrassing the specialist engineers at SRK who must be slaving away, day and night over the holidays to come up with a set of functioning enclosure doors that somehow clip onto the zimmer frame tubular structure,

Few tack welded brackets for mounting, should be really simple. I'm pretty sure the time will be spent on a computer designing the fit and finish to look as good while being functional. If you you spend 10 years developing a great product why would I want to rush half-baked addons for that product.

If you spend all that time designing a vehicle, doors and other enclosure parts should be fully integrafted from the outset. Otherwise they are not likely to be fully integrated

The enclosure panels were in fact planned from the onset a decade ago.  Smart to focus on getting the base Model specs finalized and production ready.   Arcimoto Engineer's are tweaking the finalized enclosure panel design and the quick mount hinges as we speak.  The soft and hardshell panels will be as integrated as an easy on easy off enclosure panel can be.
