Will they get a final, valid registration as road legal vehicles? Or will it be some form of preliminary registratiion (like I now have for one of my bikes - that cannot be transferred?

As I understand- The first one- Marks is already licensed and insured in Oregon. He said it was easy.
This doesn't answer about outside US though it is a step forward
My understanding is that a vehicle requires a VIN#, has to be compliance tested and certified to register and license as a Federal requirement.  Your assumption is the FUV has been compliance tested, certified and registers as a motorcycle in all 50 States?

I know nothing about compliance etc. I am just passing on what I was told by Mark in an e-mail.
Thanks.  Please let us know how it goes after you receive delivery of your Signature Series #06.

I just heard that SS #0 and #1 are both driving now. I assume that means that the basics are finished on them and they are in testing mode.

That's awesome news! I've seen #0 on the road myself, but I hadn't heard #1 was running. Exciting times!

I think it's fantastic that the Captain got his spaceship, serial #0001.  I'm curious about who will get #0002, and how soon.

Jimball, a blast from the past!  Good to hear from you.  There are 6 S Series total in various stages of assembly.  I bet they roll out and deliver on a relatively short time table.  I'm eager to hear news that assembly has started on the 50-100 Pilot vehicles.  I recall you had a very cool looking three wheeler rig, but don't recall if you had a SRK/FUV reservation.

It sounds like the plan is to deliver all early reservationist vehicles in 2018.

I still have my trike, and ride it as often as weather permits for daily transportation.  I've held off on placing a reservation.  I have a few thousand dollars worth of medical bills to pay off for my wife before I can go for the FUV.  Archimoto should be in full production by then, and caught up with all the reservations & advance orders.  I still hope to see one in person before ordering.

The Capt'n got number 1, zero went to Arcimoto's founder.

Here's a great video re the delivery of #1... imho, it really shows and underscores the psychology of "Boys and Their Toys" ;-)

Can't wait to get mine either and replay the same scene, but at 470 something, I'm not holding my breath for 2018.

I can visualize your Blue Trike. Smile  Sorry to hear about the medical bills, but hope your wife is well and is riding with you in the new FUV when the time comes.  I require a test ride for fit and comfort before taking delivery, but have no question regarding the FUV's front wheel drive, ride, performance, and handling capabilities.

I wouldn't be surprised or disappointed if the planned 2018 delivery numbers fall short.  However, the successful Reg A+ funding round generated enough cash to purchase equipment earlier than expected to scale production.  It appears the A Team is either on or ahead of schedule......providing parts sourcing isn't an issue to assemble a couple thousand FUVs.

I don't need to see one. There is enough information available to convince me. Nothing else comes close to meeting my needs and wants. Second choice would be a Nissan Leaf, but I am holding off on that. I don't like the feeling of being in a cage, which is the way all cars feel to me. As soon as my number comes up, I will drive to Eugene with a trailer.

Actually, second choice would be to build my own, but it would be much more limited. Probably an open trike based on bicycle technology.
