Keeps Dying ?

Hi,

I'm new the forum so please bear with me. I have a 2020 model, with only 580 miles. I got it from the previous owner with 180 miles. My situation is that Arcimoto died on me once when it hit at about 250 miles. I thought I might have bumped the kill switch, did a restart and it never happen again. Now the other day it happened again and was baffled, was able to restart but happened several times. Then there was now power at all. Didn't know about the soft reset and the hard reset until I got the Arcimoto home. which I performed. Thought it was fine, charged it overnight and it happened all over again ?
Now coincidence ? I was using the wall charger a few weeks back and the charger started to buzz. I left it for about 15 seconds and noticed it was reading power fault. Noticed the charger plug starting to get warm at the plugged end and unplugged immediately. Used another cord and everything was fine.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated (sorry for the long description).

Hello and sorry to hear about your issues
You said the plug in the wall was getting warm and so you moved the charging cord to another plug, right? You say you used another cord and I want to make sure you are using only the factory charging cord directly into the outlet and not using an extension cord too?
Did you ask the previous owner about similar issues and if so what did they do about it?

I've owned the Arcimoto for over a year and at the current location it requires an extension cord. I've haven't had an issue except for that the one time I had unplugged and plugged it back it 5 minutes later and the charger read charge fault and shortly after the plug end started to get vert warm. I switched extension cords thinking the cord might have gone bad and even went with a larger gauge. Since then it's never happened again.The previous owner was my sister and she had only put 180 miles on the arcimoto in about 1 1/2 years.  She did mention the Arcimotot did some recall work to it. 
I neglected to check about extension cord usage. The dying problem only occurred once in the first 300 miles since I've owned it ? Until the past month I put it on a trailer and brought it to Tahoe. At Tahoe it was plugged directly into the wall outlet. Was able to put about 80 miles on the arcimoto before it started acting up. I realized if I would reset the circuit breaker it would run again. But was entirely unpredictable. Somes times 20 feet, 1/2 a block etc. 
Brought it back home and it's been on the trailer ever since. I asked an electrician friend and his theory was that it's either drawing too much current for some reason or the circuit breaker has started to fail or just possibly a loose connection.
Since then I've found some saying that the throttle could be failing but not quite my issue. The 12Volt operating battery not holding a charge but the arcimoto dash light up and shows charge. Did find a NHTSA 21V242  Exceeding Charge Limit May Cause Battery Shutdown which sounds similar to my issue. With arcimoto not existing didn't try to call yet.  That's about the whole story and where I'm at.

I asked about service locations and got this reply

Service facilities are still running. Phones and website are down, but you can email service.arcimoto@gmail.com and they should get back to you quickly.

If you're not near the factory (from your profile location, I'm guessing not) you'd have to arrange for transportation of your FUV to the factory in Oregon.

They might be able to recommend a shop local to you, and arrange for parts shipped directly if needed.

If you're on Facebook, find "Arcimoto FUV Club" group, lots of owners help each other there, and some Arcimoto personnel help, too.
