Oh yeah, I forgot about that one. Maybe they were doing some assembly of initial components for testing (like the Sig Series gearbox they dropped into Blue).

Perhaps, but they have said we are assembling components for testing in the ETC for future Signature Series builds earlier and made the assembling VEHICES statement a few months later. Either way we should see the finished product very soon.

They Facebook replied direct to consumer online orders would be shipped to the customers door. I'm betting they partner with a nationwide auto delivery company to keep shipping as reasonable as possible.
My limited research indicated Vehicle shipping rates to be at .50 per mile open trailer and $1.00 per mile enclosed trailer with variables impacting those rates. A guess until The A Team makes some official announcement. If shipping rates are based on the weight of a crated SRK I believe it weighs in at 1023 lbs.. I am around number 700 in line so it could be a while yet.

I'm only 500 miles from Eugene and may consider a factory pickup up as well, just to meet some A Team members and tour the facilities. Probably more expensive than shipping since I would have to rent a trailer.......an enclosed trailer.
I would like to see SRK Stores similar to Solo Stores in the future. I'm hoping for a servicing partner Along with a shipping partner. Although, routine service should be a cakewalk and handled by most any certified mechanic providing there is an on line factory servicing manual and parts availability.
They have suggested there will be a servicing partner.
I would travel to Eugene with an open trailer, 1150 miles. Make a vacation road trip out of it. Do some local exploring with the SRK on the way back. Most campsites have electricity available, I could camp out and charge up the SRK overnight. As to service, I don't expect anyone in Wyoming will be doing that. I can't even get my Prius worked on except at the dealer. So I plan to do maintenance myself. What I need is rapid parts availability, and the ability to troubleshoot without a lot of specialized tools. I am used to this - my first motorcycle was a James. I had to order parts from Birmingham, England. It was a good way for a teenager to learn how things work.

Your statement, "I can't even get my Prius worked on except at the dealer", reinforces the importance of a servicing partnership and or servicing dealer network by all the new start ups. The vast majority of market demographics are not backyard mechanics.
I like your pick up the SRK in Eugene make it a vacation plan!
