Battery cooling strategy

Arcimoto expects the battery to last at least six years according to the FAQ.  I am interpreting that to mean that the batteries will be air cooled rather than liquid cooled.  I have seen 10 year warranties on many liquid cooled batteries.  I believe there are battery cooling patents in the works but perhaps someone could comment on the arcimoto strategy.

If I'm remembering correctly, the battery will be air cooled, but they're going to use custom batteries that include some kind of innovation to make the air cooling more effective? I wish I could remember more specifics. Their patent numbers are in their investment circular; they're not too tough to look up online.
