WINDOWS! Third-party, made by the person who designed them while working at Arcimoto

Yeah, it's FB, and I'm not really on FB any more. So I'll summarize here.

Brad Harness is a former Arcimoto employee, who was working on soft windows for the hard doors. Well, he has finalized them, and is selling them as an upgrade he performs now. Takes 3-4 hours to install, he charges $1500. You do have to get your FUV to Eugene, Oregon and back; but he is wiling to travel. I'm trying to get a group install day in Portland so he can get multiple people done in one trip. If you have hard doors and are interested, hit me up. We'll schedule a time for Brad to come use my garage for the installs. (And yes, these require you already have the hard doors - I suppose you could get them without doors, but that would be silly.)

These turn the FUV into an all-weather commuter! I'm looking at getting this done August-September timeframe, but if I get 1-2 other Portland-area folks interested, I'll schedule it around your timing.

The "framing" is rip-stop nylon (like the older soft doors) that is permanently attached to the tube framing of the FUV, plus a section of material is added to the outside of the doors at the top to snap the windows on to. The windows are durable vinyl (like soft Jeep side windows,) and snap to the door, then zip up or down. Note that the windows must be fully unzipped to open the door, and they unzip from the rear, so if you want them partly down, you expose the rearward part of the window area, then flop them over.  (Photos from the Facebook post by Joe MorganSmile

I would love to investigate getting these windows installed on my FUV. I can't seem to find any information on how to contact him or how to start the process. Do you have any tips?

If you're on Facebook, post in that thread, and/or message him on Facebook. If you're in the Portland area, and are interested in a "group install", let me know and we can arrange a day that works for both of us to have it done in my (large) garage.
