Thanks for posting your photos here! The one burning question I have for you is after having seen the Green ‘Evergreen’ up close and personal, what is your opinion on the appearance of the body panel and accent color? Acceptable finish to your critical eye? Better than we thought? My only real issue is the California doors fit. I was told the doors were ready........at least that was my understanding. Looks like some serious tweaking to do. Did you open/close a door and or observe how easily it attaches/detaches?
The Evergreen is not nearly as nice as the fiberglass painted panels. They are much more flimsy and have lots of dull black plastic. The silver base hula looks much better imo. The trunk is super flimsy, don’t put too much weight in it. I think you’ll take it home, love it, and forget about its imperfections. Then you’ll try to sneak it in bed to cuddle with like a stuffed animal.

Hey do we know what every button/switch on that dash picture does? I can guess at about 2/3rds of them. A few I cannot.
One looks like a snowflake, it doesn’t have AC right? Anyone wanna take a stab at each one? Are you saying the vinyl looks flimsy or the actual panels are super flimsy? Also as far as trunk, the bottom should rest straight on the flat platform which is sturdy right? Or are you saying the sides are thin and crappy?

Bottom row windshield spray, rear seat heater, windshield defog, don’t know, traction control?, setup? The vinyl looks fine. It’s the black plastic panels that are physically flimsy and because they are unpainted and not wrapped they look like cheap plastic. Trunk sides are thin and has no vinyl so it looks pretty cheap.
Oddly, I never thought of the Sig Series and Betas as looking cheap, but rather fit and finished. However, the Arcimoto Flagship Evergreen, looks cheap in terms of fit & finish in the photos, but it ain’t $cheap. Why is that? The FUN and Utility Factors have to make up for it. I hope the Silver body color has a bit more shine (than the matte black) as it appears in this older photo:
I'm guessing the difference between making one FUV at a time VS mass production of them is where you'll see changes in how parts are produced. Fiberglass vs vacuum formed plastic body panels, etc.. Paint/gelcoat on fiberglass vs vinyl on plastic. Ever since I saw the first gen8 design I've known attaching skinned doors to the pipe frame would be a serious technical challenge. Making the gaps look good between panels is another challenge on top of that. Injection moulding the panels would allow stiffening ribs and connection points to be all part of the plastic, but each part would require a very expensive injection die. Perhaps if they had 100,000 reservations rather than 4k the manufacturing investment could be higher/better.
