It was revieled yesterday. Its bed is maybe 50" wide. The fuv is 80". That bummed me out.

Thumbs Up Fuv is a better transport

Arcimoto vs ev motorcycle - Arci can be driven in rain and snow. Wind less as a pest. Passenger arms are free. It's safer.

Arcimoto vs any ev vehicle - Doors are less of a burden. Less repairs. Tighter in space. Easer to walk around. Easier to repair in my opinion. Better mpge. Battery range will improve at Pace with other EVs. Has mechanical advantage. Even as Tesla's software improves it won't matter because cellphones will always be better. It's more enjoyable for outside experience.

  Trickle charge in cold
Posted by: Templedog1 - 10-06-2019, 01:13 AM - Forum: Repairs & Technical Discussion - Replies (7)

From wiki

"lithium-ion battery technology, cannot be safely trickle charged. In that case, supervisory circuits (sometimes called battery management system) adjust electrical conditions during charging to match the requirements of the battery chemistry. For Li-ion batteries generally, and for some variants especially, failure to accommodate the limitations of the chemistry and electro-chemistry of a cell, with regard to trickle charging after reaching a fully charged state, can lead to overheating and, possibly to fire or explosion."

So basically I can't trickle charge my arcimoto when it's -40 f. Does anyone know what I can do to guarantee a safe start after 10 hours of sitting in a desolate parking lot at these temperatures? I seen on a Tesla video that it has an app to preheat the battery. Of something like that.

Also what kind of antifreeze do I use? Regular stuff at the store?

  Self driving automation

The self driving will inflate the price. If you have self driving they will need a recliner front seat. I'm not going to be forced to sit up and watch a computer drive me around. I'd rather take blanket and a nap. I don't care about a law. I'll sleep. I don't like watching npc simulations.
